Position Summary
McCormick Taylor is seeking a motivated GIS/Business Analyst with 4-7 years of experience to join its Geospatial/Data Team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The selected candidate will be joining a team of creative and motivated professionals and must be able to work within a team environment and have a desire to grow and strengthen our GIS and Data services. Job Responsibilities
The GIS/Business Analyst will be expected to be onsite with the client 2 days/week. Major responsibilities will include documenting business processes, analyzing data, suggesting process improvements, proposing GIS solutions, and working closely with stakeholders to identify and resolve pain points. The analyst will be expected to be able to provide GIS support, but will also collaborate with other members of the McCormick Taylor GIS/Data team.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields OR 5-7 years of work experience as a GIS or Business Analyst
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS software and relational databases
- Experience creating and maintaining GIS data
- Experience developing Power Bi dashboards to aid analysis and decision making
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to complete work independently in a responsible and timely manner
- Excellent analytical thinking / problem solving skills
- Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
- Experience designing SQL databases and creating queries and triggers
- Experience with Python or R
- Experience with geospatial analysis
- Experience with ArcGIS Online and the ArcGIS applications (e.g. Field Maps, Survey123, etc.)
