About the Role and Responsibilities:
McCourt Partners is looking for an analytical, inquisitive, and strong-minded Analyst to help expand our real estate efforts. The Analyst, with approximately 1-2 years of experience in real estate investments, investment banking, or investment advisory will be responsible for underwriting unique acquisition and development opportunities, managing an existing portfolio of investments and development projects, and assisting with all Real Estate team initiatives. He/she/they will work with the investments and development team to analyze new opportunities, asset dispositions, financing structures, and development management, and enable the McCourt Partners Real Estate investment and development team to execute strategy and support senior-level decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Underwrite potential acquisitions and developments, and support project management, dispositions, refinancing and structuring for all asset classes to support senior-level decision-making
- Conduct in-depth valuation analysis of real estate acquisition and development opportunities as well as due diligence on a wide range of opportunities
- Assist in the financing, structuring, and overall execution of transactions
- Prepare cash flow models, incorporating analyses such as distribution waterfalls, sensitivity matrices, IRR, and NPV
- Continuously refine revenue, cost, and exit assumptions for ongoing and prospective developments
- Conduct and present analysis regarding potential acquisition opportunities, debt financing terms, and development activities to other members of the management team
- Prepare investment committee memos, confidential information memorandums, presentations, internal briefs, and related support material
- Support annual and long-range strategic planning processes at the property and fund level
- Perform financial analysis, strategic business analysis, and detailed industry research
- The role is analytically intensive, and the ability to quickly understand and distill complex information into useful takeaways is critical; as is the ability to interpret broad themes and strategies, and to present such themes and findings in a thoughtful and polished manner
- Create a relationship of trust by delivering accessible, efficient, and reliable services and products for internal and external stakeholders
- Encourage open communication and build consensus. Use tact and discretion in dealing with sensitive information, and keep stakeholders informed of decisions and directives as appropriate
- Conduct business with an understanding and respect for the differences in customs, laws, regulations, and business operations among different jurisdictions and cultures
- Recognize personal bias and others’ tendency toward bias and takes measures to mitigate the influence of bias in business decisions

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required with a preference for a degree in real estate, finance, business, economics, or mathematics
- 1-2 years of real estate/market analysis experience in private equity or investment banking. US market experience required
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Passion for real estate and ability to clearly communicate ideas
- Attention to detail, exercise sound judgment and can handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills to help balance multiple responsibilities and projects across competing priorities and deadlines.
- Driven, highly motivated, and results focused.
Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 -$115,000 annually. Total compensation for this role also includes a bonus incentive in addition to the base salary. The actual offer will be determined on factors including the qualifications, experience, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
