At McCoy Construction & Forestry, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of industrial, construction, and forestry equipment. This will include diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and system issues, as well as fabricating special lifting or towing attachments and hydraulic systems.
We require our technicians to maintain a clean work area, shop tools, and equipment, and to ensure that all work is performed safely and in accordance with safe work procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A strong understanding of heavy duty diesel equipment and its operation
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships with customers while providing high-quality customer service
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
