The Technical Product Support will drive growth and provide exceptional product support for McCoy Global in the Western Hemisphere. You will collaborate closely with Operations, Product Line Managers, and Sales to enhance customer experiences, optimize product performance, and ensure ongoing product support excellence. This key role will empower the success of both new and existing products by delivering top-tier technical support.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years related industry experience preferred
- Previous technical or specialized training an asset
- Comprehensive knowledge in mechanics and electronics
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must have a valid driver’s license and passport to travel to field locations
- Willing to travel onshore/offshore/international
What you’ll do:
- Provide operations and maintenance training on McCoy Global Products.
- Provide technical support for customers, 24/7
- Conduct product field trials when and where required.
- Make recommendations for training needs across the product lines.
- Continually aid in the enhancement and updating of training, communications and related educational tools for internal and external reference.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers.
- Identify sales and growth opportunities and assist in the development and execution of plans to ensure that customer’s opportunities/requirements are achieved and capitalized on.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Develop new accounts by identifying potential new customers for Sales, Rental or Service
- Assist with customer requests or issues as needed and address customer concerns to ensure satisfaction.
- Respond to customer requests within target timeframe with solutions by working with internal departments.
- Provide activity reports to the Sales and Marketing and Product Line Teams.
- Understand and communicate customers’ strategies, competitors’ strategies, market drivers and outlook and any trends in technology that could impact McCoy Global market position.
- Aid in the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans to address market opportunities and penetration of new customer segments.
- Gather and analyze market need and intelligence; particularly, activity, price, total available market and market share and competitive outlook.
- Attain and disseminate information regarding competitor intelligence.
- Capture and communicate industry and customer new product development opportunities and requests to ensure new products are fit for purpose.
- Provide input as needed to prepare business cases and statement of requirements for new product/system opportunities.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including but not limited to all Health and Safety and Quality Management initiatives.
