What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machinery Mechanic position at McCoy Machinery?
Automate Controls, Inc., dba McCOY Machinery is seeking a Mechanic to assemble, and final test machinery designed and manufactured by McCOY. This is a full-time, hourly position with benefits. Electrical aptitude and experience is a plus.
Duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Must be organized and structured, have a heads-down approach to tasks and projects.
- Proficient MIG and TIG welding a BIG benefit.
- Develop a working knowledge of our current mechanical prints and instructions.
- Primary Focus: develop a detailed working knowledge of how to build and wire the capital equipment manufactured by McCOY.
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience is a plus.
- Mechanical and Electrical know-how and experience, Excellent communication, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Drawing & Blueprint understanding, working knowledge of manufacturing practices.
- Work with Mechanical & Electrical Engineering departments on corrective actions, drawing updates, design change opportunities, and help improve communications between engineering, customer service and manufacturing.
- Must have your own hand tools. Specialty tools will be provided.
- Most importantly, be a TEAM player and be able to accurately and concisely communicate with managers, customers, other departments, and team members.
- MUST BE A DOCUMENTED CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES and have a VALID DRIVERS LICENSE.
Background check will be performed prior to receiving a written offer letter for full-time employment.
