Job Summary
The Millwork Assembly Crew will assemble millwork products including doors and molding. They will follow detailed instructions to construct and build both stock and special order doors, as well as millwork trim for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble millwork products such as doors and molding according to provided instructions.
- Work on an assembly line where tasks may vary depending on the product line being produced.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Attend team meetings and company training sessions as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team.
- Basic understanding of production equipment or ability to learn quickly.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of and compliance with applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Ability to adjust machine controls quickly and repeatedly to exact positions.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet business demands.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- General knowledge of carpentry and millwork.
- Successful completion of on-the-job training.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of standing, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that require frequent bending and stooping.
- Visual acuity necessary for reading instructions, operating machines, and inspecting products.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements over extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds, and pushing/pulling loads of up to 50 pounds.
