Job Summary
We are seeking a Yard Crewmember to assist customers, operate a forklift, stock products, and provide general store support.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and responding to their inquiries
- Loading and unloading products safely and accurately
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Performing routine safety checks on equipment
- Cutting lumber and other materials as requested by customers
- Operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Forklift operator certification is required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor
Working Conditions
- Prolonged periods of standing and moving around the yard and warehouse
- Exposure to various types of weather
- Occasional heavy lifting and pushing/pulling of loads
