Job Title: Yard Crewmember
Part-Time Opportunity
The Yard Crewmember plays a crucial role in assisting customers, operating equipment, and maintaining store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer product-related questions, and provide timely support.
- Product Handling: Load and unload products safely and accurately into vehicles.
- Forklift Operation: Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the yard and warehouse.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the lumberyard and warehouses.
- Additional Duties: Cut lumber, cover exposed materials, and perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, forklift operator certification, and ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
- Physical Abilities: Prolonged standing, repetitive movements, lifting up to 80 pounds, and working in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.
