Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our organizational processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, driving strategic planning initiatives, and leading teams to achieve business objectives. This role requires a strong focus on profit loss management, process improvement, and business development to support our growth and success.

Duties

• Managing and insuring the unloading and loading of trucks.
• Managing of preparing weighing metals, sorting and packaging.
• Managing organization of yard and building where metals are processed and stored.
• Managing daily service, lubrication, fluid check of equipment.
• Managing equipment repairs and service of equipment.
• Managing OSHA requirements.
• Managing Modot Requirements.
• Managing EPA requirements. Lead and manage daily operations to ensure smooth functioning across departments.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve profitability.
• Oversee project management initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with company goals.
• Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to foster a productive work environment.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices across operations.
• Collaborate with sales teams to align operational capabilities with market demands.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
• Facilitate communication between departments to ensure cohesive operations.

• Weilding Knowledge.
• Truck driving Knowledge.
• Hydraulic equipment Knowledge.
• Torching Knowledge.
• Plasma cutter knowledge.
• Metal Sorting knowledge.
• Proven experience in an operations management role or similar position.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in profit loss management and strategic planning.
• Experience in business development with a focus on operational scalability.
• Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of process improvement initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
