Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary, ensuring the health and safety of clients.
- Provide direct support in assisted living settings, engaging clients in meaningful activities.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance social interaction.
- Assist with hospice care when required, ensuring comfort and dignity for clients in their final stages of life.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.
Requirements
- Previous experience in senior care or as a personal care aide is preferred but not mandatory.
