Position Overview
As a security officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of the assets of our customers.
A security officer duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Monitoring and analyzing CCTV camera footage.
- Guarding valuables in an assigned area.
- Responding to alarms and emergencies.
- Communicating any irregularities with on-site management.
- Keeping an incident report record.
- Following procedures for emergency situations
- Checking visitors in and out of an area.
- Escorting visitors around a premises.
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
- Monitor and authorize entrance of persons into a property.
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations.
- Monitor surveillance cameras for disruptions or unlawful acts.
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
To apply for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Must have valid security guard licenses and/or certifications based on state and local requirements in the area where the position is located.
- Must have knowledge of legal guidelines for security and public safety in the area where the position is located.
