Metro Equipment & Sheetmetal is seeking a dedicated and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of routine and complex transportation tasks, including the delivery of materials to construction sites and manufacturing locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of traffic laws, defensive driving skills, and the ability to maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and the public.
Duties :
- Transport and deliver goods to various locations.
- Plan routes to ensure the most economical use of time and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned vehicles.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of vehicle interiors.
- Remove items from the vehicle dashboard to ensure a clear range of vision.
- Adhere to safety and security standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
