Position Status: Full-time.
Salary: Based on experience.
Hours of Operation: The hours will be set by the Director of Marketing; does include evenings and weekends as necessary.

Job Summary: The Sales and Marketing Coordinator’s primary function is to help with the development and execution of the sales and marketing goals to increase occupancy of the 1608 building (IL/AL/MC). This position exercises considerable judgment in applying professional knowledge in solving problems.
Essential Functions / Duties:
Marketing
- Develop relationships with prospects, residents, families and employees; provide excellent customer service and support to inquiries, referral sources, the residents, their families and employees.
- Coordinate and conduct tours and assessments for prospective residents and their family members.
- Plan, coordinate and facilitate new residents’ move and admission to the community. Includes ensuring all vital data and documents are entered and uploaded into the designated computer system(s).
- Assist with increasing the occupancy of McCrite Plaza by conducting outreach to the community, build relationships with professional referral sources, plan and attend special events in the community.
- Assist with and/or develop, implement, and evaluate marketing plan for McCrite Plaza; work closely with members of the marketing team on innovative sales and marketing ideas.
- Coordinate and assist with the design of all community advertisements to be used in multi-media marketing campaigns.
- Plan and coordinate marketing events for McCrite Plaza with members of the marketing team as well as other members of staff.
- Create and manage content on all McCrite social media platforms.
Occupancy/Retention
- Oversee, recommend, and promote activities that are designed to engage residents in the culture of active senior living as part of the McCrite retention program; provide guidance to staff involved in endeavors.
- Collaborate with other members of staff in consultative discussions regarding residents with high acuity; follow-up with resident’s family member(s) on concerns, issues, needs, or next steps as needed or directed by management.
Other
- Responsible for the privacy of health information of residents or prospects.
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Perform other related duties as needed to ensure the operation of the facility or as directed by the Director of Operations.
Education and Experiences: This position requires a bachelor’s degree; consideration for experience and education may be given in lieu of a degree per management’s decision. Prior experience in a similar working environment is a requirement. Experience in customer service, sales, or other related area is desired.

- Must attend staff meetings, in-service classes, and committee meetings as assigned or required.
Physical and Other Requirements: Primarily this position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. In addition, this position interacts with residents, family members, staff, etc., under all conditions and circumstances and must be constantly alert for resident safety. This position is also subject to exposure to infectious diseases, conditions, etc., including the Hepatitis B viruses.
This position requires the following abilities as essential to for the position:
- Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, kneel, balance, finger, grasp, push, pull, reach, or walk.
- Ability to lift objects from a lower to higher position or moving objects along a horizontal level but from position to position. This includes lifting and carrying weights up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to exert force upon an object in order to draw, drag or tug objects toward the source of the force in a sustained motion.
