McCue Corporation is seeking a driven, independent Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to take full ownership of our product and installation quality. You will improve the customer experience and help grow our business by inspecting, enforcing, and taking corrective actions for McCue products and services across the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing & Defect Identification:
- Review product specs and design docs to give quick feedback.
- Create detailed test plans and test cases.
- Design, develop, and run both manual and automated tests.
- Log defects and document issues fully.
- Perform regression testing once issues are fixed.
Quality Planning & Coordination:
- Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing work.
- Work with teams like product development and program management to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop testing processes for new and existing products.
- Be a part of our global quality team and clearly share quality issues and fixes with all teams.
Continuous Improvement:
- Investigate product quality to find improvement opportunities.
- Recommend solutions to quality problems.
- Track quality metrics (defect counts, etc.) and drive improvements.
System Requirements & Metrics:
- Check system requirements to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Monitor quality metrics to measure product performance.
Staying Up to Date:
- Keep up with new testing tools and strategies.
QMS & Auditing:
- Enforce a strict quality system with manufacturers and installers in the US.
- Regularly audit our distribution, manufacturing, and installation sites.
Data Analysis & Management:
- Respond to quality tickets in a timely manner.
- Review First Article Inspection samples and enforce quality procedures for all new products.
- Ensure that incoming and outgoing inspections of production products are completed as required.
Root Cause Analysis & Preventative Actions:
- Perform root cause analysis and create corrective action plans that delight customers and prevent future issues.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2 to 4 years in quality management for manufactured goods or technical services.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied sciences (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering preferred).
- Self-driven and organized with the ability to work independently in a global team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes, including Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA), Lean Manufacturing, and standards like ISO9001 and AS9100.
- Experience with First Article Inspections, control plans, source and final inspections; knowledge of AQL is a plus.
- Experience working with suppliers, including audits and supplier corrective action reports (SCARs) is a plus.
- Experience with equipment installation and knowledge of general tooling is a plus.
- Able to design and execute test cases, including Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Knowledge of defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
