Duties
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies in various legal matters.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation.
- Draft and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and motions.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations in personal injury cases, bankruptcy, workers compensation and civil litigation matters.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and case progress.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of personal injury law and bankruptcy law.
- Proficient in legal research techniques and familiar with Westlaw.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client representation.
- Strong negotiation skills to advocate for clients' best interests.
