Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Lawyer to join our legal team. We have need of attorney in the areas of Social Security/ Disability Claims, Workers Compensation and Bankruptcy proceedings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice, representing clients in court, and conducting research to support legal proceedings.
Duties:
- Litigate on behalf of clients in civil court proceedings
- Research and analyze legal issues relevant to cases
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Conduct legal research to support the preparation of legal documents
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, and appeals
- Perform legal administrative tasks to ensure cases are managed efficiently
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Legal research and Legal drafting
- Proficient in negotiation techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with legal databases such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Ability to write clearly and persuasively
