Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will :
Champion Co-worker Relations : Develop and implement programs that enhance employee relations and create a family-friendly organizational culture.
Policy Leadership : Formulate, interpret, and recommend policies and objectives aligned with organizational goals.
Talent Management : Lead staffing and recruitment efforts, ensuring best practices for hiring and retention while meeting the organization's strategic needs.
Employee Development : Supervise training programs and educational initiatives to enhance productivity across all levels of the organization.
Problem Resolution : Investigate and resolve workplace issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and working condition concerns, while providing actionable recommendations.
Budget Management : Oversee the HR departments operating budget, ensuring compliance with allocated resources.
Performance Management : Review and guide evaluations, recommend personnel actions, and drive onboarding initiatives to create a seamless new-hire experience.
Leadership Training : Provide directors and managers with training and communication on HR policies and practices.
What Were Looking For
Proven experience in co-worker relations, human resources management, or a similar leadership role.
Strong understanding of HR policies, compliance, and personnel administration.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to navigate complex employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.
Strong experience within a union healthcare environment is highly preferred
Experience in budget preparation and departmental resource management is a plus.
