What You’ll Do:
As our Content Creator, you’ll be at the forefront of our customer engagement strategy, helping us connect with homeowners by producing compelling, helpful content.
Key Responsibilities:
● Video & Content Creation: Develop high-quality videos, blogs, and social media posts that address common customer concerns, showcase our expertise, and highlight real customer experiences.
● Customer Engagement: Interview customers and feature their HVAC journeys, helping others see the value of our services through relatable stories.
● Tech Collaboration: Work with our technicians to create engaging behind-the-scenes content, demonstrating our services, expertise, and company culture.
● Content Strategy & Vision: Plan and execute a content calendar aligned with customer interests, seasonal trends, and key company initiatives.
● Brand Storytelling: Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice, reinforcing trust and credibility.
● Social Media Execution: Manage and distribute content across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, maximizing reach and engagement.
● Event Coverage: Attend community and promotional events to capture engaging content, interview attendees, and showcase McCullough’s presence in the community.
What We’re Looking For:
● Creative Thinker & Strong Storyteller – You know how to capture and tell compelling stories that resonate.
● Strong Interview & Interpersonal Skills – Comfortable engaging with customers, technicians, and team members on and off camera.
● Video Production & Editing Skills – Proficiency in filming and editing content; experience with tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut is a plus.
● Social Media Savvy – Understanding of social media trends, audience engagement, and content optimization for different platforms.
● Independent & Proactive – A self-starter who can take an idea and run with it, balancing creativity with strategic execution.
● Writing & Communication – Strong verbal and written skills to craft blog posts, scripts, and captions.
● Brand Consistency – Ability to align content with our brand voice and values while keeping messaging engaging and informative.
● Event Flexibility – Willingness to attend occasional promotional events and community gatherings to capture content and engage with the public.
● Experience & Education – Journalism, marketing, or communications background preferred, but experience in content creation is required.
● Austin-Based – This position requires on-site video production at various locations with some remote flexibility.
