Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide internal Operations Support.
- Provide Administrative support to Area Managers as required.
- Contact customer for customer survey activity.
- Operation of scale, scaling in and out.
- RAD monitoring and software tracking operation.
- Load verification according to profile.
- Verification of profile with fingerprints.
- Verify accuracy of manifest/paperwork (scale tickets, work orders, etc.).
- Data entry - Service Dispatch (manifest, fingerprint).
- Processed waste tracking.
- Manifest generation for out bound waste.
- Scheduling disposal facility.
- Outgoing facility approval (check and balance).
- Scheduling with dispatch on outside transportation.
- Daily flow/parameter tracking.
- Operate walk behind floor scrubber as needed.
- Inventory control ordering of chemicals, tracking usage and reconciliation completion.
- Answering phones - direction facility calls.
- Typing, data entry at the direction of Facility Manager and the Compliance Manager.
- Independently sampling, running laboratory testing, waste acceptance and paperwork processing.
- Facility dewatering and BIO equipment operations.
- Understanding of Facility Waste Acceptance Plan.
- Independently processing of e-scrap and universal waste handling. Process includes: preparation, logging and shipping.
All administrative functions related to this area below is at the direction and review of the Facility Manager and/or Compliance Manager dependent on required function.
- Update profile to be sent to client.
- Updated analysis if required.
- Check Internal Project Manager for decision on who should talk to generator.
- Update Service Dispatch.
- Send out recertification letter.
- Outbound manifest completion, tracking and service dispatch entry.
- Track the final destination of waste in Service dispatch.
- Summary of incoming waste volumes to facility.
- Purge existing files.
- Organize and sort files. File preparation and categorization.
- Comply with government safety requirements and other regulations.
- Attend department and safety meetings.
- Reports for all schedule work shifts before scheduled starting time, and works until scheduled stopping time, as required.
- On-call availability every 5 weeks to your assigned team. During the 7-day period you will be available to report to MEI 24 hours a day within 1 hour.
- There will be limited exposure to outside elements in this position.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Reading comprehension skills, math aptitude and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
- Ability to write clearly in the completion of various documents.
- Planning and organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with little or no direct supervision and an aptitude to complete assigned work.
Required Education, Training and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalency.
- Wastewater Certification is required.
- Construction field or related experience.
