Job Description:
The Department of Art at McDaniel College seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach two sections of ART-1117 2D Design Concepts during the fall 2025 semester. Our studio classes are taught face-to-face in Westminster, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting all designated class periods.
- Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours.
- Designing and delivering classes that work toward achieving the outcomes established for the course.
- Conveying course information and communicating with students through the College's online learning management system (Blackboard).
- Grading student assignments in a timely manner.
- Submitting mid-term and final grades according to college regulations.
- Attending compensated professional development opportunities.
- Building a positive rapport with students and faculty.
Requirements:
MFA in a relevant discipline in addition to college-level teaching experience.
