Commissary Clerk

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

MSC prides itself on providing superior customer service to our customer base. This is the foundation of who we are and how we have become one of the leading commissary companies. This includes our commissary team members.

The duties for a commissary team member are broken into job specific roles. Each team member will be cross trained in all functions of the commissary team as they progress in proficiency, seniority, and knowledge of our processes.

Duties include but are not limited to:

. Deliver Commissary to inmates throughout Lexington county jail.

· Unloading trucks

· Receiving inbound orders

· Putting away received product

· Making deliveries and picking up at several locations

· Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures in regards to safety and fleet operations

Education /Skills or Work Experience Requirements:

· Warehouse experience is preferred but not required

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

· Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

· Must have the ability to work independently or with a team to carry out assignments.

· Must be able work within established parameters, designated routines, and approved practices

· High school diploma or GED required

· Must be detail oriented and self motivated

· Must be flexible and adaptable to changes in routines and customer expectations

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

· Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
