The Role
We are expanding and seek an experience Quality Manager to be instrumental in our new Manufacturing division based in Andalusia, Alabama. The Quality Manager is responsible for supporting the establishment of a new Part 21 manufacturing facility. The role will oversee all aspects of quality assurance, control and ensure compliance with FAA and other relevant aviation standards. The incumbent will collaborate and partner with our operational and repair leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with FAA and other relevant aviation standards.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure product certification and airworthiness.
- Oversee internal and external quality audits, ensuring corrective actions are taken to address non-conformances.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives around processes and procedure to drive manufacturing efficiencies and operation excellence.
About You
- 10 years working in Quality Management within the aerospace or aircraft manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of the regulations and standards, applicable to a Part 21 facility.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interface with engineers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Proven leadership experience in managing quality teams and driving continuous improvement.
- Experience in a rotary wing organisation will be highly regarded.
