The Role
The Stores Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory control of unserviceable aircraft parts and overseeing the repair function. Additionally, this role will oversee the logistics and distribution of unserviceable parts, ensuring accurate recording of movement and compliance with aviation standards.
Responsibilities
· Stock and Repair Management: Oversee daily operations of unserviceable stock and repairs.
· Inventory Control: Ensure accurate stock tracking and reporting of all unserviceable items.
· Logistics and Shipping: Supervise timely and efficient packaging, shipping, and receipt of goods.
· Quality Assurance: Verify stock condition, ensuring compliance with aviation standards and proper storage.
· Customer Relations: Foster strong relationships with internal and external clients by ensuring satisfaction and quality service.
· Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess transportation, purchasing, and shipping processes for improvements in efficiency and cost reduction.
About You:
We are looking for a Stores, Warehouse or Logistics professional with experience working in an aviation environment.
· Experience in a similar role, ideally with an understanding of Aviation Parts and Regulations.
· Experience with inventory management systems.
· Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others.
