Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Timekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in timekeeping, preferably in an oil and gas project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize timekeeping software (Timeworks) to accurately record and maintain employee time and attendance data.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all timekeeping activities.
- Maintain a database of personnel's personal information to ensure accurate payroll activities and records.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll records to ensure continued accuracy.
- Prepare paychecks to ensure employees are paid on time and in the correct amount.
- Verify and validate employee timesheets using our electronic timekeeping system (ETS).
- Assist in analyzing timekeeping data to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies.
- Support in preparing and distributing payroll reports and summaries.
- Responsible for providing Cost Control Team with time/cost information for updates.
- Responsible for all accruals, projections, and other accounting reports to home office; all accounting functions.
Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish desirable.
- Strong proficiency in mathematical computations, data entry, and filing.
- Ability to create, formulate, and manipulate spreadsheets in Excel.
- Good proficiency in Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of professional timekeeping principles, concepts, and terminology.
- Working knowledge of electronic timekeeping systems and payroll related principles, concepts, and terminology as basic accounting and craft payroll work processes.

- Positive
