McDonald Bros is looking for enthusiastic Pipe Layers with a minimum of 2 years Experience, including water, sewer and storm drain.

Job Purpose

Pipe layers are responsible for the correct and efficient installation of underground water, services, sewer, and storm drains.

Job Description Role and Responsibilities

• Works under the general direction of the site foreman.
• Properly cut and lay pipes in trenches, aligning them precisely, and sealing joints per project specifications.
• Follows plans to ensure proper grading and slope.
• Cleans and prepares job sites.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, etc. with aggregate base, asphalt and concrete.
• Dig ditches and trenches, excavation, backfill, compact and level Earth to grade specifications.
• Load, unload, identify materials, machinery, and tools. Distribute them to the appropriate locations.
• Participates in weekly safety meetings and follows all safety guidelines.
• Ability to adjust actions in relation to others’ actions and give full attention to the details of each job.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
