Our team is growing, and we are seeking a highly skilled Probate Paralegal with 1 or more years of experience to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of probate cases, including drafting petitions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research, analyze estate assets, and help prepare inventories and accountings.
- Manage probate case files from start to finish, ensuring compliance with court deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, beneficiaries, court personnel, and other legal professionals.
- Organize and prepare documents for hearings, meetings, and mediations.
- Maintain detailed client files, both physical and electronic.
- Track and calendar important probate deadlines and court appearances.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a paralegal. A focus in probate law is a plus.
- Proficient in drafting legal documents, including probate petitions, wills, trust documents, and court pleadings.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent experience required.
