What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Intern position at McDonald Plastic Molding?
SUMMARY
The Engineering Intern will spend time on the shop floor working in different departments learning our equipment and processes. After learning about our processes, the Engineering Intern will work with the operations, quality and engineering teams on projects throughout all McDonald Plastic Molding facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Plant and work cell layout improvements
- Automation integration
- Collaborates with the Quality team to establish related quality documentation(Process Books) for new projects; Maintains documentation for existing projects
- Participates in continuous improvement activities; Support 5S initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
