What are the responsibilities and job description for the MAINTENANCE AND IT DISPATCHER COORDINATOR position at McDonald’s?
The MAINTENANCE AND IT DISPATCHER COORDINATOR is responsible for receiving and recording emergency and non-emergency calls and relay pertinent information to appropriate personnel. Using telephone, or computer to send units to appropriate locations. Monitoring the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule. Providing field units with information about orders and requirements. Entering data in computer system and maintaining logs and records of calls, activities and other information.
Managing communication systems and emergency situations. Following protocols and guidelines while making dispatching decisions regarding the urgency of the repairs. Relaying information to management and other relevant personnel as needed. Maintaining communication with all personnel during emergency situations until a resolution has been reached.
This is a work from home position and may occasionally require a restaurant visit. Previous restaurant experience is not required but is preferred. A history of successful self-management is required.
RESPONSIBLITIES
- Receiving, recording, and relaying work orders to appropriate maintenance and IT Personnel
- Recording information such as name, department name, and type of work requested
- Relaying messages and special instructions to service crews through detailed communication
- Keeping a record of service and maintenance calls and work orders
- Maintaining files on all specific, and related information and documents
- Interacting with vendors in matters regarding supplies and materials
- Maintaining records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as completion times
- Reviewing drivers’ logs, including dispatched calls and arrival times
- Resolving issues or offering information as needed
- Coordinating with other personnel and departments
