General Summary

Essential Functions
- Enforce a classroom atmosphere that promotes joyful learning and an inclusive, welcoming, purposeful school tone and culture.
- Supervise and support students in the daily lessons and activities as provided by the Lead Teacher.
- Use technology effectively to enhance and extend instruction.
- Demonstrate professional standards of presentation, punctuality, professional courtesy, and discretion.
- Perform non-teaching duties (lunch duty, recess supervision, etc.) in order to support and assist students throughout the day.
Recommended Employment Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.

- Ability to effectively communicate and work with adults and students
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to successfully work with and within a culturally and academically diverse student body, staff, and community
- Academic teaching experience, preferred
- Experience with, and love of, working with children

Working Conditions
Climbing stairs to various locations on campus. Lifting and carrying of equipment is not typical, but may be required on rare occasions. Lifting up to 25 pounds. Reaching, grasping. Sitting. Standing. Stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling. Talking, hearing, tasting or smelling. Walking around campus.
