We are currently seeking a Saw Operator to work on our first shift.

Specific Skills and Responsibilities
Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist. Operate machines or equipment which cut steel. Cut steel to length as per Blueprints. Deburr and label parts as they are cut. Maintain steel inventory levels. Maintain a clean and very organized work environment. Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Read and interpret specifications and blueprints. Document work completed. Load and unload steel delivery trucks. This position will work on our day shift, with the option of 4-10hr days, or the traditional 5-8hr days.
Summary
As a Saw Operator, you will be integral to our manufacturing process, responsible for operating various saws to cut materials according to specifications. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools, micrometers, and cranes. Your core skills in machining and basic math will ensure precision in your work, while your experience with forklifts will aid in material handling.
