Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Offer crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in distress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with coding standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.
Experience
- A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
- Valid licensure or certification as a Therapist in the relevant state.
- Proven experience in therapy settings with a focus on mental health counseling.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and behavioral health best practices.
- Experience with coding for therapy services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
