Summary
An opening for a new position currently exists for Payroll Supervisor at the Corporate Office in Bossier City, Louisiana. This full-time exempt position prepares and processes weekly, bi-weekly, annual, and ad-hoc payroll runs through ADP; in addition to, General Ledger reconciliations to Payroll Registers, monitor and maintain workers compensation rates, verify 401k data, and numerous other payroll specific job functions and responsibilities. The position reports to the Corporate Controller.

8:00 am – 5:00 pm M-F
Responsibilities
- Supervise Payroll department.
- Reconcile Payroll registers to general ledger. Verify tax filings and W-2 production.
- Responsible for fringe benefit expense accruals; monitor, reconcile and adjust as needed in the payroll system.
- Verify and compile 401k data including quarterly match and annual match true-up.
- Assist HR with the compilation of annual 5500 audit data.
- Calculate and process special yearend payrolls including Personal Use of Company Vehicle, Group Term Life > $50k, Deferred Compensation, and Officers Life.
- Compile data for Multiple Worksite reporting.
- Prepare annual bonus rosters and calculate bonus shares.
- Prepare annual ESOP compensation reports.
- Prepare reports for ADP ACP testing including employee gross wages and temporary employee hours worked.
Some requirements of this position are
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but applicable Payroll experience will be considered
- Minimum of 7 years working directly with payroll processing
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory/management experience with payroll departments
- Minimum of 5 years working in conjunction with outside 3rd party processers (e.g. ADP, Paychex, Paycor, etc…), but no less than a minimum of 3 years working directly in ADP payroll processing software; specifically, Workforce Now
- Applicants with ADP payroll processing experience will only be considered.
