About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior EHS Engineer to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage Machine Safety Risk Assessment processes.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for machinery and equipment, identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety standards are integrated into the design, operation, and maintenance of machinery.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety measures and make necessary adjustments to improve safety performance.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and support to engineering and operations teams on machine safety issues.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards.
- Lead incident investigations related to machine safety and develop preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees on machine safety practices and procedures.
- Prepare and present reports on safety performance, risk assessments, and corrective actions to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to machine safety.
- Support equipment start-up and commissioning process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS engineering, with a focus on machine safety risk assessment.
- Professional accreditation in machine safety.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ANSI, ISO).
- Proven experience in developing and managing risk assessment processes for machinery and equipment in the biotech and pharma industries.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Annual Paid Time Off:

Salary : $145,000 - $155,000
