McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a RN-Hand Surgery for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: Assist busy physician with Orthopedic Hand Surgery practice. Duties include assisting with direct patient care in the clinic and operating room, pre and post op patient teaching, scheduling patients for surgical procedures and obtaining prior authorizations for procedures and testing. In addition, will participate in on-call rotation with physician.
Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Certification/License
- Possession of State Registered Nurse license.
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse.
Days: Monday - Friday. Participate in evening, weekend and holiday call rotation.
Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Hours will vary depending on schedule
Experience
- Previous office based nursing experience preferred, but not required.
- Previous OR experience preferred, but not required
