Service Writer Role
McFarlane's is seeking a skilled Ag Service Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating tasks for the Ag Service Department. You will maintain systems and procedures for operating efficiency, ensuring that activities are carried out in accordance with established specifications, schedules, and budgets.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinating interdepartmental functions to minimize delays
- Meeting with departmental members on a regular basis to review project status and plan future actions
- Ensuring technicians verify customer information as current in the system and on all work orders
- Providing excellent customer service at all times and ensuring customer needs are met and completed in a timely fashion
Requirements
- Prefer a two-year technical degree in an agricultural equipment or diesel service-related field
- Four years' prior experience working as a technician preferred
- Previous Service Writing experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with a variety of engine service-related processes and materials
