Job Summary
The auto service technician will provide outstanding customer service while performing diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Respond to customer needs for diagnostic and maintenance services, tire repair or replacement.
- Ensure each customer receives excellent customer service by providing a friendly environment.
- Diagnose and repair vehicles, conduct wheel alignments, change oil, and repair or replace tires as needed.
- Drive vehicles into the shop and clean up after every job.
Education & Experience / Skills & Qualifications
- Possess an automotive mechanics technical degree and ASE Certification is preferred.
- Have a minimum of five years prior automotive diagnostic and repair experience.
- Hold a current Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Be able to perform auto diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance using special tools and equipment.
- Ability to push, lift, and move tires if needed.
- Meet quality and time standards and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain positive working relationships.
- Possess proficient communication skills in English.
Physical Demands & Safety Requirements
This position requires standing for extended periods, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, twisting, reaching, and grasping. The employee must frequently pull/lift/move/carry up to 50 lbs.
