Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary: As a Truck Driver/OTR Driver at McFarlane's, you will be responsible for transporting freight in inter or intra state commerce between terminals and relay stations. Your primary duty is to ensure the safe operation of commercial motor vehicles and deliver goods to their destination on time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect vehicle and required parts and accessories prior to departure and throughout the trip.
2. Check shipping papers and load itself to determine any special hazards.
3. Operate vehicle in compliance with company rules and all applicable state and federal regulations.
4. Deliver freight to consignees using common sense and consideration to unique job sites and related constraints.

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a Class A CDL with a minimum 1-year continuous current driving record, and the ability to meet DOT 49 CFR 391.41 Requirements/ Qualifications.
