Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Materials Movement Expert to join our team at McFarlane's. In this role, you will be responsible for providing production support by moving material throughout the yard.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading structural steel parts and deliveries
- Moving/maneuvering inventory and finished product around the yard and throughout the facility
- Ensuring loads are secure throughout handling and movement
- Performing other related work as required
Requirements
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified
- Valid driver's license (Fork truck requirement)
- Ability to perform all operations within acceptable time standards; working efficiently, yet safely, as necessary
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
