Key Responsibilities & Duties
· Achieve and exceed sales goals, contributing to the company’s long-term growth.
· Prospect and develop new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.
· Lead the Growth in our Commercial Snow & Maintenance Divisions.
· Hunting/prospecting, relationship development, planning, organizing and negotiating skills while closing.
· Create and present proposals in a professional and timely manner.
· Maintain a strong sales pipeline with both new and repeat business opportunities.
· Own and manage the sales pipeline for all salespeople, ensuring that all leads and opportunities are tracked, followed up on, and converted.
· Assist in measuring properties and renewing customer maintenance contracts.
· Lead and support the Account Management team, setting goals for enhancement sales, new sales, and client retention.
· Monitor sales techniques and market trends, refining strategies as needed.
· Represent the company professionally and courteously in all industry and client interactions.
· Assist in training and mentoring sales staff, ensuring they stay updated on product offerings and sales strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Licenses
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
· Valid driver’s license and insurable on a company policy.
Required Experience & Skills
· 10 years of experience in sales and customer service.
· 10 years of experience in the Green Industry/Landscaping or High End Residential Construction sector.
· Proven success in business development, field sales management, or account management.
· Experience working with Residential, Commercial and Industrial clients.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to conduct market research and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
· A track record of developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
· Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive in driving new business.
· Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
· Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
· Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and other sales software.
· Understanding of landscape industry calculations, including measuring spaces, configuring elevations, and estimating material quantities.
· Comfortable using technology, software applications, and mobile devices.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work flexible hours to accommodate client meetings.
· Pass a background check in accordance with state and federal laws.
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
