What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Design/Architect position at McFarlin Stanford?
- Involvement in residential landscape projects from inception to completion
- Responsibilities include site inventory/analysis, conceptual drawings, permitting, project technical specifications, and illustrative drawings
- Routine meetings with clients, project managers, subcontractors, etc., requiring open communication
- Regular site visits to ensure proper execution of designs and assist with "in field" changes/adjustments if needed
- Landscape plans may include hardscapes, softscapes, plantings, pools, outdoor kitchens, water features, patios, etc.
- Familiarity with different components (hardscapes, softscapes, plantings, pools, etc.) is essential
- Proficiency on platforms such as Microsoft Office, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Dynascape or Vectorworks
- Knowledge of New Hampshire shoreland & wetland rules and regulations is critical
- Licensed Architect is preferred but not required
- Must have portfolio of work
