POSITION OVERVIEW
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to instruct students and facilitate their learning in accordance with corporation policies and state guidelines. Assists students in learning subject matter, skills, competencies, and ethics that will contribute to their growth as mature, responsible and productive members of the community.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The midd;e school counselor shall be responsible for guidance functions that take place throughout the entire school involving staff and student personnel. Middle school counselors will serve the principal in the following areas: counseling, orientation, testing, referrals, attendance, curriculum, record keeping, services, and general. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Master of Arts degree in counseling, counselor endorsement. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid school counselor certificate. |
