Salary Range: $78,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year.
The Sr. Quality Control Specialist is a subject matter expert in Quality Control within the Safety and Compliance team. As an individual contributor, this role observes, documents, analyzes and identifies safety and compliance issues by performing operational and other regulatory audits. This role is responsible for a successful partnership between the Safety and Compliance team and station leadership teams as well as customers of McGee Air Services. The role also collaborates with station and executive leadership to create effective solutions and make recommendations for corrective action and process improvement.

- Act as a subject matter expert in quality Control, partner with the Manager, SMS & Quality Control to develop and administer regulatory audits, SMS safety risk assessments, and the IATA Safety Audit of Ground Operations (ISAGO).
- Conduct station safety and compliance audits including observations, document reviews, and interviews.
- Conduct incident investigations to determine root cause and corrective action.
- Analyze data collected from station audits to identify systemic trends of non-compliance.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify process level breakdowns.
- Work closely with station and executive leadership to correct safety and compliance issues.
- Conduct periodic station audits according to risk-based audit schedule, complete associated audit report, and ensure closeout of all applicable corrective actions.
- Provide real-time coaching and training of station personnel, including supervisors
- Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions resulting from audits or other safety investigations.
- Create, modify, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of all department manuals, publications, and documents.
- Research, develop, document, and implement policies and procedures applicable to all job functions.
- Communicate policy and procedure changes and other job related information through multiple communication channels
- Conducts follow-up checks, monitors development and verifies implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions to provide feedback on performance.
- Represent the department at SMS Meetings.
- Lead by example by taking on responsibilities, participating in improvement efforts, and assuming leadership role among peers in the absence of the manager.

- Obtain and maintain an airport security clearance, customs seal, and/or USPS security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen, and fingerprinting is required.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and one of the following documents in order to obtain a Port Badge and US Customs Security clearance.

Salary Range (if applicable):
The hiring range for this position is expected to be $67,725.00 - $94,516.00 per year. The current full salary range for this position is $78,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year.
