Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the parts department, including inventory control, ordering, and stocking.
  • Supervise and lead a team of parts associates to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and sales transactions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
  • Assist customers in identifying and sourcing automotive parts.
  • Monitor and report on department performance, including sales targets and profitability.
  • Ensure all parts meet quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments (service, sales, etc.) to ensure smooth workflow and availability of parts.
  • Develop strategies to improve parts department efficiency and profitability.

Pay Range.

$60,000-$80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and including all pay components

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Parts Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in using parts management software and MS Office.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Automotive Technology or related field preferred).
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy automotive parts.
  • Valid driver’s license.
