What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Counter Person position at McGee Hyundai of Lebanon?
Seeking a reliable individual to add to our growing team! The ability to multi-task is required & previous automotive experience is preferred, but, we will train the right individual.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Assist customers in finding the right products or parts
- Answer phone calls and provide information or take orders
- Operate cash register and handle cash and credit card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized counter area
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Quote/bill/pick parts for Service guests
-Daily parts Order & Keeping Special Order Spreadsheet updated
Skills:
-Multi-tasking ability
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
- Organizational skills to keep track of inventory and maintain a clean counter area
- Knowledge of automotive service or parts is a plus
- Cash handling experience and ability to operate a cash register
- Excellent customer service skills to provide assistance and resolve issues
- Phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally
- Basic retail math skills for cash handling and inventory management
