What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Pipeline Engineer position at McGhee Engineering?
At McGhee Engineering, we are a family-owned firm dedicated to providing top-notch planning, design, and construction phase civil engineering services to our clients in Kentucky and Tennessee.
We also offer surveying services, including boundary surveys, subdivisions, topographic and route surveys, and construction staking.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop plans and specifications for various water/wastewater projects.
- Perform civil design using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Conduct hydrology/hydraulic calculations, pump station design, and pipeline design.
- Manage and compile permit and funding applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; P.E. certification is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering related to pipeline design, drainage design, and construction permitting.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 software suite.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills, and design abilities.
- Client management experience.
