What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist Intern position at McGinley Orthopaedic Innovations Inc?
The McGinley Clinic is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist Intern for our Casper office location. Applicant must be enrolled in participating radiologic program as a soon to be second year student. This is an internship that will work directly around any classes, clinical hours, and school related activities. Otherwise, weekly office hours of 8AM – 7PM and 9AM - 3PM on Saturdays. This individual will work directly with the staff technologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and/or Dr. Joseph McGinley in a fast paced and growing musculoskeletal interventional care clinic and our orthopedic urgent care center. The primary focus will be imaging services for our clinic and urgent care patients, as well as outside referrals. This position will also include assisting in unique procedures and treatments performed in our clinic setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic imaging for diagnostic purposes
- Follow established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety
- Reception, scheduling and check in of patients
- In-office procedure assistance
- Provide assistance to our providers in patient care setting
- Patient care coordination and follow-up communication
Requirements:
- Special license from State of Wyoming
- BLS certification
- All CDC recommended vaccinations including by not limited to COVID-19 and influenza
Start date is flexible.
