Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled and reliable Event Standby EMTs to provide on-site emergency medical care at various events. This seasonal, part-time role is ideal for EMTs looking for flexible work in a dynamic environment. Weekend night availability is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate emergency medical care to event attendees, staff, and participants.
- Quickly assess patient conditions and administer appropriate treatment.
- Collaborate with event organizers, emergency personnel, and public safety teams.
- Safely operate emergency vehicles as needed.
- Maintain proper documentation of medical incidents and care provided.
- Ensure medical supplies and equipment are ready for use.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- At least 20 years old
- Current Ohio EMT-B certification
- Current CPR certification
- EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operator Course) Certification
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
- Availability to work weekend night shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vehicle rescue training and experience
