What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transport Division: Class A & B CDL Driver position at McGovern Automotive Group?

Description

McGovern Automotive Group (MAG) : CDL Driver- Class A and B

Pay Range : $25-33 / hr

Responsibilities -

Follow appropriate safety procedures while driving trucks to destination of MAG location or customer locations
Assess vehicles to ensure that mechanical equipment is properly maintained and report any findings to supervisor if any issues are found
Obtain receipts or signatures for deliveries and collect payment when required
Report vehicle defects, accidents, or damage to the vehicles
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications -

At least 3 years of driving experience required

3 years of a clean motor vehicle record required

CDL Class B license required

CDL Class A license required

Ability to interpret and follow written instructions

Able to work independently

Personable, organized, and punctual

Regular, full attendance is expected

Able to work the required schedule and work at the specified location

Required to complete the MAG employment application and submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen

Assumes ownership for personal safety, as well as that of others
