DEFINITION:

Classified employee under the supervision of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) special education teacher, the instructional assistant will perform a variety of tasks associated with the teaching process: supervising students, presenting prepared or standardized lessons, administering tests, and performing related work as requested.  The Instructional Assistant assumes routine supervisory, clerical, materials handling, and short-term planning tasks in an efficient manner.
