Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time mail sorting clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sorting, organizing, and preparing incoming and outgoing mail for distribution. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a family oriented environment and possess strong organizational skills. You will work closely with the Front Desk Administrator in our Indianapolis office on the assigned tasks. Flexible part-time hours (16-24 hours per week). Hours may vary slightly based on workload and company needs.

Responsibilities
Sort incoming mail and packages by size, destination, and priority.
Organize outgoing mail and packages for delivery or dispatch.
Ensure proper labeling and addressing of mail to prevent delays or returned mail.
Handle sensitive or confidential mail with care and discretion.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist in tracking and reporting mail and package deliveries.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate processing of mail.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a mailroom or similar role is preferred but not required.
Ability to lift and carry mail and packages of varying weights.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills may be required for tracking deliveries.
